CORE AND SHIPPING INFO

If you are preparing to ship parts to us but unsure of what to send whether its core parts or a clutch you want serviced

PLEASE INCLUDE AT THE VERY LEAST YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER WITH ANYTHING YOU SHIP TO THE SHOP

TWO STROKE ENGINE CORE

OR SERVICE

                   INCLUDE

  • Crankcase

  • Crankshaft

  • Cylinder

  • Head and head cover

  • Water pump impeller

  • Brass bushing that sits on the shaft behind the oil pump

  • 12 head bolts, 8 cylinder bolts, 16 case bolts

 

​                    REMOVE

  • Oil pump

  • Recoil, Flywheel and stator

  • Reeds and intake boot

  • All head fittings

  • Clutch

  • PTO seal cover

  • Engine mount straps

  • Y pipe

  • Exhaust valves

  • Spark plugs

  • Water pump cover

 

                 KEEP IN MIND

  1. If the core motor is assembled leave it that way, they ship safer

  2. If you leave any extra items on the core we will return them to you or install them on your new motor depending on the situation

  3. Flywheel, stator, clutch, exhaust valves, reed boots are subject to additional labor charges if we have to pull them off your core motor / swap on to your new motor

  4. The list above is for small block motors.  If you have an older generation motor the water pump impeller and oil pump bushing do not apply

Core Refund:

1.Core that is being returned must be in a rebuildable condition.

2.If there is any welding that needs to be done to either the crankcase or the cylinder there will be a core return deduction.

3.If there is cylinder head damage there will be a core return deduction

4.If the crankshaft needs anything other than main bearings, ie. PTO End, Mag End, Inner crank web, there will be a core return deduction.

  • If using a belt that is not OEM to your sled we will need the belt for shimming
